El 1x1 del Barça campeón de LaLiga ES Sports

Barcelona have been crowned LaLiga champions for the second consecutive season, showcasing a brilliant campaign under Hansi Flick. A total of 28 players were used throughout the tournament that rewards consistency, and here are the ratings for the players and coach.

German Bona

**9 – Joan Garcia, Goalkeeper**

Providential

Barcelona needed a top-class goalkeeper, and the man from Sallent wasted no time in proving his worth. A feline shot-stopper whose greatest strength is reading the opponent’s mind. The Zamora Trophy is his.

**5 – Wojciech Szczesny, Goalkeeper**

Shocking

The Polish goalkeeper seemed a shadow of his former self this season, despite being important last term. Perhaps he accepted his backup role too easily. He conceded in every league match he started.

**6 – Jules Koundé, Defender**

Distracted

A far cry from his previous campaign. He went from deserving a well-earned renewal to losing his starting spot in some matches, including the decisive Clásico. Injuries didn’t help either. The challenge remains to regain his form.

**6 – Xavi Espart, Defender**

Promising

Two league appearances from a youth academy product who will be talked about for his defensive ability and intelligent overlaps. He looks set to be Barcelona’s future right-back if he continues this progression.

**7 – Ronald Araújo, Defender**

Resilient

The captain bounced back after a tough period and was rewarded with lifting the trophy. He had to step away for mental health reasons. In LaLiga, he always performed, alternating between center-back and full-back, scoring three important goals.

**9 – Eric García, Defender**

Indispensable

One of the standout names of this league campaign, essential for Hansi Flick. The Martorell native has the ability to perform wherever he’s asked, and this year added extra character and personality to his quality.

**8 – Pau Cubarsí, Defender**

Authoritative

A silent leader at 19, who went from a shaky start to becoming the ‘kaiser’ of the Barça defense. Solid at the back and extremely composed in possession.

**5 – Andreas Christensen, Defender**

Postponed

Too little seen of Christensen due to injuries. He leaves the impression he could have been important for Flick, who values him. A classy player, but injury-prone. He might stay and get another chance.

**8 – Gerard Martín, Defender**

Confirmed

Gerard Martín must now be taken very seriously after a championship where he performed better as a left-sided center-back than at full-back. A player with the best attitude, solid in defense and passing.

**5 – Alejandro Balde, Defender**

Unrecognizable

Alejandro Balde is much more than what he showed this season, perhaps conditioned by his injury before and after. He has the pace and class to regain his status, but at times seemed lost.

**7 – João Cancelo, Defender**

Transformed

A surprise return to Barça in the winter market, and his performances at left-back when expected on the right. The Portuguese still attacks better than he defends, but he has improved in that area too.

**6 – Jofre Torrents, Defender**

Future Prospect

If not for injury, he would surely have had more minutes, as he is a left-back with good technical and defensive concepts. First, he needs to recover well, then more opportunities will come.

**6 – Marc Casadó, Midfielder**

Unsupported

The player from Sant Pere de Vilamajor played far less than expected, and his future is uncertain. When on the pitch, he performed more than adequately, but Flick opted for other options.

**8 – Marc Bernal, Midfielder**

Overwhelming

Returned from injury and was used sparingly by Flick until he exploded with transitions, runs, and goals. An ankle sprain broke that magical moment, but the future of the pivot role is his.

**7 – Gavi, Midfielder**

Unmistakable

Despite being plagued again by…
