After the Lakers were swept 4-0 by the Thunder in the first round of the NBA playoffs, Luka Doncic faced questions about his future and potential roster moves. When asked if he would attempt to recruit LeBron James and Austin Reaves to stay with the team, similar to his earlier efforts to bring Marcus Smart to Los Angeles, Doncic replied, “We’ll see. I can’t tell you anything right now.”
On playing in Los Angeles, Doncic added, “I love living here. I love playing for the Lakers. This is one of the best teams in the world.”
Doncic did not play any games in the postseason due to injury, sidelining him for the entire series.
