The match took place in Lviv, where Shakhtar dominated from start to finish. Izaque scored a brace (55th minute and 61st minute), while Dmytro Kryskiv (45+3) and Lassina Traoré (67th minute) added goals to seal the victory.
With 66 points from 27 games, Shakhtar holds an 11-point lead over second-placed Polissia, who have 55 points. This marks the club’s third league title in the last four seasons and their 16th overall. The record for most Ukrainian Premier League titles remains with Dynamo Kyiv, who have 17 championships.
Shakhtar’s next match is an away fixture against Kryvbas, but with the title already secured, the focus now shifts to celebrating their remarkable achievement.
