Lokomotiv Moscow defender Alexander Silianov has shared his thoughts on the team’s improvement compared to previous seasons. After 29 rounds, the Railwaymen sit third in the Russian Premier League standings with 53 points.
Asked whether Lokomotiv have been stuck in place for several years, Silianov responded: “I think this season has been better. There is clear progress. We even topped the table at one point, though we threw it all away ourselves. As for competing for the title… I believe it’s possible, as long as we don’t drop points at the end. But that’s easier said than done.”
When pressed on why the team consistently loses momentum every spring, he admitted: “Honestly, I don’t know.”
